Congratulations to first-year graduate student, Sasha Stark, for winning the inaugural Alty Group Paper of the Year (POTY) competition! Each graduate student presented a paper published in 2025 that they thought was ground-breaking and impactful. The Alty Group has its first cohort! As of January 2026, Sasha Stark, Ethan Cramer, and Jacob Narr have begun their Ph.D. journeys in the Alty labs. Sasha will be working on polymers for transporting resources. Ethan will be investigating how to use rearrangements as a means of polymerization.
