Welcome to the group, Sasha, Ethan, and Jacob!

The Alty Group has its first cohort! As of January 2026, Sasha Stark, Ethan Cramer, and Jacob Narr have begun their Ph.D. journeys in the Alty labs. Sasha will be working on polymers for transporting resources. Ethan will be investigating how to use rearrangements as a means of polymerization. Jacob, who is co-advised by Prof. Barney Grubbs, will be looking into helical materials. We are excited to see where their science takes them!
