Ethan wins Safety Day Award!

Started by Prof. Jon Rudick, the Stony Brook Chemistry department annually celebrates safety by hosting a department-wide Safety Day. This year's Safety Day included voting contests for the best Instagram-worthy safety photo series, safety poster, or near-miss tale; a plenary lecture in memoriam of Prof. Rudick; a near-miss panel discussion; a safety-themed version of Quiplash; and an awards ceremony. Many thanks to Hayley Murphy, Alicia Mullaley, and Sandhya Muralidharan for organizing another fantastic Safety Day! It’s encouraging to see everyone working together to strengthen the safety culture in our department.

Congratulations to our own Ethan Cramer for winning a Safety Day award! Ethan was recognized for his dedication to maintaining a safe environment in the teaching labs. Ethan was recognized across the entire department for his excellent work as a TA. Great job, Ethan!
