Thank you to the Beckman Foundation!

Jill received an Arnold O. Beckman Postdoctoral Fellowship to study mucosal networks at MIT with Prof. Laura Kiessling. The fellowship generously supported Jill from 2022 to 2025, when she began her independent career. The Beckman Foundation also sponsored two of Jill's initiatives, Polymers GRS 2023 and PoWER 2024, through the Beckman Conference Support Fund.

The 2025 Beckman Symposium featured Jill as a plenary lecturer during a breakout session. Her talk was entitled "Synthetic Mucins as Microbial Curators" and encompassed the work that she pursued as a postdoctoral fellow.
