Welcome to the group, Dr. McQuade!

We are excited to have Dr. James McQuade join the group as the first postdoctoral associate! James earned his Ph.D. in Prof. Frieder Jaekle's group at Rutgers University, studying boron-containing small molecules and polymers. In the Alty group at SBU, James will be developing stimuli-responsive polymers.

An Irishman to the core, serendipitous timing synchronized his start date to St. Patrick's Day. Here is a photo of the group raising a toast to the newest addition to the group. Welcome, James!
